Cooking with poo – not a typo

Umm… Yep you read that right, this unfortunately named book by community chef Saiyuud Diwong has, understandably won the Diagram prize for oddest book title.

Thankfully, the title actually refers to the chef’s nickname “poo” which comes from the Thai word for crab.

Other titles considered but rejected:
– Poo in the kitchen
– Call me Poo
– and… Poo tastes Bangkok

I’m just relieved this is not an exploration into a culinary sphere none have dared venture into before. Not even sure Heston would go that far!
